One or more ferns add a touch of class to any perennial garden or border.... may also be breathtaking when planted in a fern garden on their own.  Their detailed foliage and slowly unfurling fronds make them as captivating as tiny works of art and can easily make themselves at home in a moist and somewhat shady backyard.  Ferns are great companion plants in a hosta garden.  We will have about THIRTY varieties of fern to choose from.

FERNS/Brilliance.jpg

Brilliance Autumn Fern:  The fronds of this fern emerge a coppery yellow, eventually turning green in the summer.  In the autumn, they turn a brilliant russet-orange and hold on most of the winter.

FERNS/BurgundyLace.jpg

Burgundy Lace:  Green foliage with silver highlights, red stems and purple veins.

FERNS/Interrupted.jpg

Interrupted Fern:  Native upright clump forming fern found in moist shady woods.  The green sterlie leaflets are "interrupted" by a few brown sterile leaflets in the middle of the stem.

FERNS/Tassel.jpg

Tassel Fern:  Evergreen with shiny dark green fronds that are a paler green on the reverse side.  Recommend mulching this Zone 5 fern for overwintering.
